Bruleed Grapefruit

BREAKFAST

Brulee transforms tart grapefruit into a rich, sweet, decadent breakfast! It has a crunchy, sweet “brulee” topping that makes a great, healthy breakfast or dessert!

Turn simple grapefruit into something indulgent for breakfast. The grapefruit will still be healthy, but it’ll have a little something special on top. It’s a great way to start the day. To make the bruleed grapefruit, you need either a torch or an oven set to broil. Slice the grapefruit in half, top with a bit of turbinado sugar and let the sugar crystallize under the heat. I top these with yogurt, lemon curd and granola.
