A banana split is one of my favorite desserts and this healthier version is just delicious as the classic. Topped with fresh berries, yogurt and cinnamon peanut butter, it is versatile and you can customize based on what you have in your pantry.
Quick and easy to make, this healthy banana split is perfect for breakfast or snacking. Topped with Greek yogurt, berries, granola and peanut butter drizzle, this recipe is perfect for a lazy morning.
These breakfast banana splits start off like a traditional banana split: with sliced bananas as the base. Then instead of the ice cream, we’re adding a generous helping of greek yogurt. (I chose to use coconut milk greek yogurt, but you can use which ever variety of yogurt your family enjoys. Be sure to make this dessert when you want to serve it. If you cut the bananas too early they will start to brown. It looks and tastes best made just before enjoying.
This breakfast banana split only has a few ingredients and is super easy to make.
